On the ocean side, patch reef fishing can also be tons of fun for your family all year round, but especially if you visit the Keys from December to February when it’s at its peak. Even on cooler windy days, there are still vast oceans of fish to be found; your captain knows how to optimize the fishing of these rock piles, edges, ledges, and drop-offs and has all of his favorite spots tagged on his GPS. Whether it be Backcountry or Patch Reef fishing, both are thrilling adventures.
