I booked 3 days with Captain Billy B last fall and we caught everything from trout, snapper, blues, jacks, ladyfish, sharks, you name it we caught it. He knows where the fish are, he knows what they eat, and he knows how to show his customers a good time.
I called Captain Billy B and told him I wanted to catch a Permit. With only a one-day notice, he put us on the fish! We caught three huge Permit. It was so fun for a spontaneous weekend trip. What a day!
My family and I had the best day fishing with Captain Billy B. Myself, husband, daughter, and son. We caught a lot of fish and many different species. Captain Billy is deeply knowledgeable about the lower keys & Everglades National park and absolutely knows where the fish are. Captain Billy cleaned the fish for us, and we had the most amazing fresh fish dinner.
It was a super fun family day and Captain Billy set a great vibe on the boat, he would cast, and I would reel them in!
My wife and I had the pleasure of having our four children fish with Billy over a spring break trip to Key Largo. Billy was amazing with our kids and patiently instructed them on where to cast and how to handle the fish once they caught them. It was the highlight of their entire trip! We caught a lot of good speckle trout and after the day was through had a local restaurant – Lazy Days – prepare them for us that evening. Despite living on the ocean in North Carolina and having our own boat to fish out of, our kids can’t wait to go back and fish with Billy. I guess I will never live up to that standard! I highly recommend fishing with Billy B!
My boys had the best time! Captain Billy was so sweet to them and even taught them how to filet them at the end! They were catching fish one after the other and really enjoyed their evening! Highly recommended!
We had an amazing time with Capt Billy. Went with our three young kids and he was patient and eager to teach them fishing techniques. Took us to his secret spot which was a ways out but well worth it. We were catching huge trout, Ladyfish and catfish constantly. Catching these involved just the right amount of technique and finesse and was very satisfying. It was an amazing experience we will no doubt repeat!!
Captain Billy was an incredible guide for us he got us on the fish and he kept us on the fish for four hours straight. We only did half a day but in that half-day, we brought home about 20 pounds of fish meat. And then we stopped on our way back to the marina we hooked a 300-pound shark which was a thrill to reel to the boat. I look forward to using Captain Billy again in the future!!
